About Dr. Dowse

Dr. Brittani Dowse ND, LAc., is a Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist.  Since 2010, she has been caring for a high volume of patients using Acupuncture and Natural Medicine.

All visits with Dr. Dowse are a combination of Chinese and Naturopathic medicine that may include any of the following treatment modalities:  acupuncture or acupressure, moxibustion, cupping therapy, custom herbal or supplement evaluations, nutritional assessments and plans, other physical medicine and assessments, and other physical diagnostic examinations.

She joyfully transitioned from Portland, Oregon, to join her family in Cedar City in 2016. While practicing Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in Oregon, she maintained her private practice in Portland while also helping hundreds of clients in the rural communities of The Dalles and Hood River, Oregon, and Stevenson, Washington, to resolve pain issues, reduce the severity of allergies, and to improve many other health conditions and quality of life.  For many years, Dr. Dowse was also one of the fantastic physicians at the well-known Jubitz truck stop medical clinic in Portland, OR, where she has performed thousands of DOT/CDL driver medical examinations (and still remains FMCSA registered).  In that setting, she has helped many patients from around the country with a variety of conditions, especially those with diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Dowse received her medical education and training at The National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR (www.nunm.edu).  She maintains her medical licenses in both Oregon and Utah.  

Dr. Dowse is smitten with her home of Southern Utah!  Her spare time is filled with many adventures to explore the mountains, canyons, waters, and trails that are so beautiful and abundant around Cedar City and Southern Utah.
